Who we are
Two builds,
one camera.
Nitro Media is Austin Jones and Colby Minton, based in Kalispell, Montana. We both drive Subarus — Austin the green STI, Colby the orange WRX — and we swap roles shoot to shoot. Whoever isn't behind the wheel is behind the camera.
We started filming our own cars on the roads around the Flathead in 2024, and people kept asking who shot it. Since then we've been doing the same thing for other people's builds.
We run a full camera and gimbal setup, and every shoot is handled by us start to finish: we show up, we shoot, we grade and cut it ourselves.

Questions we get
Anything else, call or text (406) 399-3602.
How long does a shoot take?
Most shoots run 2–3 hours, plus drive time to the location.
How should I prep the car?
Washed and dried, wheels cleaned, interior tidy if we shoot details, and a full tank. Bring a microfibre for water spots — mountain roads throw a lot of spray.
Do I need someone else to drive?
No. Rolling shots have you behind the wheel of your own car while we shoot from the camera car, so it is just the two of us and you.
What happens if the weather turns?
Overcast and wet roads usually look better on camera than blue sky, so we shoot through most of it. If conditions are unsafe we reschedule, and there is no charge for moving a date.
Can I use the content to sell my car, or for my business?
Personal use and selling your own car: yes, go ahead. Business or brand use: ask us first and we will quote it.
Do you take a deposit?
A deposit holds your date, and the rest is due when the content is delivered. We confirm the exact split in writing before shoot day.
Can you shoot more than one car?
Yes. Two or three cars on one road is some of our favourite work — tell us what's coming and we'll quote the group.
What about winter?
Going-to-the-Sun Road is closed for most of the year, so winter shoots move down to valley roads and passes that stay open. Snow and bare trees shoot well, and we plan the route around the forecast.
